Stroller

This is for my mother-in-law, who generously bought us our stroller/car seat combo last week! We love it. We were almost done putting it together a couple days ago when our puppy ate the last washer, so we had to go to Home Depot today and get another one. I am sure it would have been fine without the one tiny washer, but I wanted it to be put together perfectly for our baby! It is all built now! For these pictures, I attached the diaper bag that my mom bought me a couple weeks ago. It has these cool mini straps for attaching it to the stroller handles for easy access. So convenient!

Adorable stroller and car seat, in mint blue and chocolate brown.
17 weeks - FAT!!!
Pretty diaper bag.
My model husband, lol. I love how both dogs appear to be biting at the diaper bag!

And here is a random picture of Cici, our puppy, sleeping funny next to me on the couch.

Thank you mom-in-law!! We love the stroller and can't wait to see our tiny baby in it!

A couple more pictures

I am uploading the whole video (18 minutes long!) to You Tube, but until then, here are a couple pictures:

Better shot of the baby's lady parts. They say to look for the "three lines" to determine that it's a girl. Well, here are the three lines!

A hand, with 5 fingers! :o)

The answer to the BIG question!

We had our early gender scan this morning at 16 weeks 2 days. Here is the picture...

As you can see, there are no boy parts! We are having a little girl!

Updates and graduation

First, a few quick updates. I forgot to talk about the results of my nuchal translucency scan. Everything came back normal, so our baby does not have Down's syndrome or Trisomy 18, which is fantastic. I was excited to get a call from my doctor about "normal" test results instead of "abnormal" test results for once!

Also, I got my graduation dress from this maternity store a couple weeks ago, and they were having an event for "mother's-to-be day" and had 4 different raffles going on. When you purchased something, your receipt got put into the drawing for the raffles. Well, I won a baby cake!! I was so excited. We have a million newborn diapers and a few baby items that were stuffed throughout. I felt so special! I've never won anything before!

And even though I hate how fat my graduation top made me look, I promised my mother-in-law I would post the short clip Jimmy took of me walking across the stage at graduation. I swear the shirt was poofy and I'm not that big!! Although my boobs are that big, lol. They have really grown since I became pregnant. Anyway, here it is:

Silly

I just realized that I have left out a couple major updates that have occured over the past couple of weeks.

First, I did AMAZING on my Hesi Exit exam. We had to get 850 points out of 1200, and I got 1027! My professor was in shock. A lot of people failed it (less than 850). I felt like a genius that day, lol. Hopefully this is an indicator of how well I will do on the NCLEX at the end of this month. I can't believe I am almost an RN!

The second update is that I took an OTC test called Intelligender that is supposed to tell you if you are having a boy or a girl. It was accurate for two of my friends. Well, I took the test and it is predicting a girl! We will know for sure in 13 days, if the baby cooperates! lol
Here is my result:

And here are the "sample results" from the intelligender website:

Mine looks exactly like the one under "Girl" all the way to the right. It definitely doesn't look like a boy result!

Big belly and Doggies

Not much to update on. I have had the most wonderful weekend, because I have NO HOMEWORK, NO STUDYING and I GRADUATE TOMORROW! I am so excited, can you tell? ;o)

Here is a 15 week picture of me (I am close enough to 15 weeks, so I am calling it a 15 week picture, lol)

And here is a picture of Bella and Cici (or "Conehead" as Jimmy calls her).

Cici was spayed on Wednesday and is doing remarkably well. She runs around, plays and jumps as though she doesn't have 12 sutures in her belly. Oh well. As long as she doesn't rip them out. We have to keep the cone on her until next Saturday. She apparently has some problem with her feet... the doctor said she has been licking them so much that she doesn't have much fur on them... but I think she has plenty of fur. The doc said it could be something called dermavite (I have no idea how it is spelled) and if it doesn't go away by Saturday they will have to do a "deep tissue scrape" to see if it's there. Who knows. I think I will just tell them not to do it, because I think she is fine and I don't feel like spending more money on her (we just dished out $450 for the spay, boarding for 3 nights and medicine). She does have an ear problem, though, which they gave us medicine for. I knew she had an ear problem because she scratches them until they are raw and scabbed. They look a million times better already!

Anyway, that is all. Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
